Battery Swelling and Internal Pressure Testing Solution
Battery Swelling Internal Pressure Testing
During charge-discharge cycles, lithium-ion batteries release gases internally, leading to battery swelling and changes in internal and external pressure. To study the swelling characteristics of batteries, the hydraulic/pneumatic pressure of the electrolyte inside the cell can be directly measured. The Battery Internal Pressure Data Logger is a device independently developed by Sienovo for monitoring changes in the internal gas/liquid pressure of lithium-ion batteries. This device utilizes gas/liquid pressure sensors, and in conjunction with the logger, it can convert gas/liquid pressure into digital signals for storage and upload. This device supports simultaneous measurement and display for 10 or 60 battery samples. It offers both desktop and rack-mount options, with various measurement ranges available, making it suitable for different types of battery cells and various application scenarios. The device's built-in software supports settings for compensation values, alarms, communication modes, etc. It also allows remote observation of experimental data via a host computer, enabling real-time understanding of internal pressure data and completion of data analysis without needing to be on-site.
