The UAV detection radar is a fully coherent continuous wave (CW) radar system, used to detect, monitor, track, and measure low-altitude or ground-based moving targets. These moving targets can include people, vehicles, low-flying aircraft, drones, etc. The motion information of these targets is transmitted to the monitoring center in a specified format to provide real-time relevant information about moving targets within the monitored area. The data interface supports communication with existing surveillance systems, guiding cameras or thermal imagers.

The XM6-4 UAV detection radar is a new, cost-effective ground surveillance radar optimized and launched by Xinmai, based on an existing ground surveillance radar model. This radar employs digital synthesis technology, calculating the azimuth of targets by analyzing echoes from different reflective objects. MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) design ensures simple system maintenance and high reliability. The radar features a fully integrated, all-in-one design, with built-in components such as a microstrip antenna array, signal processor, and fully coherent digital frequency synthesizer. Proven in practice, this product can withstand harsh environments and operates maintenance-free. It can operate in all-weather and all-climate conditions, with built-in filters that effectively suppress false alarms in rain and snow.

The XM6-4 UAV detection radar utilizes FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) and Doppler processing technology, along with ground clutter cancellation algorithms, to detect extremely low target movement speeds. Its radio transmission power is very low, posing no harm to personnel, and making it difficult for opposing electronic reconnaissance equipment to detect (electronic stealth). The radar has low power consumption and can be powered by batteries, vehicle power supplies, etc.

The XM6-4 UAV detection radar is a product resulting from the civilian conversion of military technology. Compared to similar civilian surveillance radars from abroad, the XM6-4 UAV detection radar offers a significant cost-performance advantage.
